OKLAHOMA DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY -- Clinton 20 Points Atop Edwards, Obama in 3rd:
In a Democratic Primary in Oklahoma today, 01/14/08, three weeks to the vote, Hillary Clinton is 1st at 45%, John Edwards is 2nd at 25% and Barack Obama finishes 3rd at 19%, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted exclusively for KFOR-TV Oklahoma City. Men and women see the contest in stark contrast. Among men, Edwards leads Clinton by 6 and leads Obama by 12. Among women, Clinton leads the two men by 40 points. Edwards also leads among Conservatives. 37% of Democrats say they might change their mind between now and the 02/05/08 Primary. Among the rest, who say their mind is made-up, Clinton polls at 53%.

2,000 state of Oklahoma adults were interviewed by SurveyUSA 01/11/08 through 01/13/08. Of them, 1,714 were registered to vote. Of them, 650 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the 02/05/08 Democratic Primary. Results from Nevada on 01/19/08, South Carolina on 01/26/08, Florida on 01/29/08 can and will color results of Oklahoma and the other states that vote on so-called "Super Tuesday," 02/05/08.
