Voters Not Yet Focused on WA2 GOP Primary: In a Republican Primary in Washington's 2nd Congressional District today, 8/16/06, Doug Roulstone has an advantage over Teri Moats, but because the largest number of likely voters are undecided, nothing of significance can be said about the contest, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted exclusively for KING-TV Seattle. Roulstone today gets 40%. Moats gets 16%. With 5 weeks until 9/19/06, the last date to vote in the Washington primary, 44% are undecided. Roulstone leads Moats by 3:1 among men and by 2:1 among women. The winner of the Primary will face 3-term Democratic incumbent Rick Larsen in November. |
Filtering: 2,000 adults from Washington's 2nd Congressional District were interviewed 8/13/06 - 8/15/06. Of them, 1,795 were registered to vote. Of them 1,189 were judged to be "likely voters". Of them, 365 selected a Republican ballot. Crosstabs reflect Likely Republican Primary Voters. |
