In Washington State, Before Super Tuesday Results Known, Democrats Take 3 of 4 White House Match-Ups: In head-to-head match-ups today, 02/05/08, Washington stays a Blue State in 3 of 4 match-ups, and Republicans manage only a tie in the 4th, according to SurveyUSA's latest general election tracking poll conducted exclusively for KING-TV Seattle. Barack Obama defeats Mitt Romney by 29 points and defeats John McCain by 17 points. Hillary Clinton defeats Mitt Romney by 10 points, but: John McCain and Hillary Clinton tie, 46% each. 534 state of Washington registered voters were interviewed 02/03/08 and 02/04/08. All interviews completed before results of 02/05/08 Super Tuesday primaries in other states were known.
