There's a proposal for an amendment to the state constitution that would end competitive judicial elections. Instead, all judges would be appointed by the governor from a pool of candidates selected by a non-partisan commission that would objectively score each judge. All judges would be subjected to an up-or-down vote every eight years instead of running against other candidates. Do you approve or disapprove of putting this issue on the November ballot?
