Goode gets 59% of the vote today. Weed gets 35%. 6% are undecided. Goode wins 93% of Republican votes. Weed wins 82% of Democrat votes. Independents back Goode 5:4. Goode wins 67% of white voters. Weed wins 66% of African-American voters. Those who have attended graduate school support Weed 3:2. All other levels of education strongly support Goode. President George W. Bush's approval rating among likely voters in Virginia's 5th Congressional District is 43%. 95% of those who approve of Bush support Goode; of those who disapprove of Bush, only 26% support Goode. The election is on 11/7/06. |
