Republican Primary: In a Republican Primary for Governor of Nevada today, 6/14/06, Congressman Jim Gibbons wins easily, according to an exclusive SurveyUSA poll conducted for KVBC-TV Las Vegas. With two months to go until the 8/15/06 Primary, Gibbons gets 50% of the vote. Nevada State Senator Bob Beers gets 18%. Lieutenant Governor Lorraine Hunt gets 15%. Gibbons leads by 19 points in the Las Vegas area and by 52 points in the rest of Nevada. Incumbent Republican Governor Kenny Guinn is term-limited.

Democratic Primary: In a Democratic Primary for Governor of Nevada today, 6/14/06, Jim Gibson leads Dina Titus by 9 points, according to an exclusive SurveyUSA poll conducted for KVBC-TV Las Vegas. Gibson, who is the Mayor of the City of Henderson, gets 43%. Titus, a Nevada State Senator, gets 34%. Leola McConnell trails with 5%. 2 months from the 8/15/06 Primary, 18% are still undecided. Gibson leads by 3 points in the Las Vegas area and by 19 points in the rest of Nevada. Gibson runs strongest among lower-income voters. High-income voters are tied.

Filtering: 2,900 Nevada adults were interviewed 6/11/06 - 6/13/06. Of them, 2,303 were registered to vote, including 943 Republicans and 853 Democrats. 518 Republicans were judged to be "likely" voters. 412 Democrats were judged to be "likely" voters. Crosstabs reflect Likely Voters.
