Analysis: In a hypothetical election held today in Arkansas for President of the United States, Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton defeats Republican Mike Huckabee, 52% to 43%, according to a SurveyUSA poll of 583 registered Arkansas voters, conducted exclusively for KTHV-TV Little Rock. Clinton gets 83% of Democrat votes, and Huckabee gets 82% of Republican votes. 55% of Arkansas voters say that Clinton is qualified to be President. 39% say Huckabee is qualified. 33% say that General Wesley Clark, a Democrat, is qualified. 50% of voters say that Clinton is the most likely of the three to make it to the White House. If Bill Clinton were eligible to run for President again, 43% of Arkansans say they would definitely vote for him. 32% say they would definitely not vote for him. 25% say it would depend on who else was on the ballot.

Filtering: 700 adults were interviewed 2/11/06 - 2/12/06. Of them, 583 were registered to vote. Crosstabs reflect registered voters.
