Now 42% in DeLay's House District Say He Should Resign: U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay's Job Approval Rating is 45% today, about where it has been for the past several months, according to the latest tracking poll data gathered by SurveyUSA 10/21/05 to 10/23/05 exclusively for KPRC-TV in Houston. But DeLay's Job Dis-Approval Rating is 51% today, only the second time in 13 tracking polls conducted over the past 5 months that a majority of registered voters in DeLay's district has expressed disapproval. 42% of voters in DeLay's district today say DeLay should resign from Congress, the highest this number has been in 5 months of tracking. The number in the 22nd Congressional District who say DeLay should remain a member of Congress is today at 36%, the lowest this has been in 5 months of tracking.
