Filtering: SurveyUSA interviewed 1,100 city of New York adults 10/17/09 through 10/19/09. Of them, 962 were registered to vote. Of the registered voters, 583 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the 11/03/09 general election. Although SurveyUSA produces tracking graphs for this contest, the 3 releases were not identical. SurveyUSA's 10/06/09 release identified Bloomberg as a Republican, Thompson as a Democrat (Bloomberg led by 8); SurveyUSA's 10/13 release did not include a party label for either candidate (Bloomberg led by 17). SurveyUSA's 10/19/09 release described the ballot lines on which each candidate will appear (Bloomberg leads by 12). All 3 releases rotated the candidate names.
