Minnesota Senator: In a hypothetical election for United States Senator today, DFL candidate Amy Klobuchar defeats Republican Mark Kennedy 47% to 42%, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for KSTP-TV Minneapolis/St. Paul, KAAL-TV Austin, and WDIO-TV Duluth. Independence party candidate Robert Fitzgerald gets 8% of the vote, which could turn him into a spoiler in the election. Kennedy leads by 15% among men.
