GOP Incumbent Coleman Defeats Franken or Ciresi in MN Senate Election Today: In a hypothetical election for United States Senator from Minnesota today, 2/14/07, 21 months from the 2008 vote, Republican incumbent Norm Coleman defeats both DFL challenger Al Franken and DFL challenger Mike Ciresi, according to a SurveyUSA poll of 632 Registered Voters conducted exclusively for KSTP-TV Minneapolis and WDIO-TV Duluth. Coleman gets 57% of the vote no matter who his challenger is. He is backed by a quarter of Democrats, who cross-over, and 58% of Independents.

Filtering: 700 Minnesota adults were interviewed 2/12/07 - 2/13/07. Of them, 632 were registered to vote and included in this survey. This is a survey of Registered Voters, not Likely Voters.
