There are sharp difference among different demographic groups:

* By a 33-point margin, Florida men say Zimmerman should be allowed out on bond while he awaits trial; by a nominal 3-point margin, women say he should not be allowed out on bond -- a 36-point gender gap.
* Among those age 65+, there is a 19-point margin in favor of allowing Zimmerman out; among those age 18-34, there is a 10-point margin opposed to granting bond.
* By 2:1, whites say Zimmerman should be allowed out; by 3:2, blacks say he should not be allowed out. Hispanics are evenly split.
* Republicans by 3:1 and independents by 2:1 say Zimmerman should be out on bond; Democrats by 2:1 say he should not be.

When the contrasting views are proportionally blended, it produces the overall data shown below: by a 14-point margin, Floridians say Zimmerman should be allowed out on bond.
