In WA-02, Independents Give Early Slight Advantage to Republican Koster Over Larsen: In an election for US House of Representatives in Washington's 2nd Congressional District today, 09/03/10, Republican challenger John Koster is in a tight fight with incumbent Democrat Rick Larsen, according to this latest exclusive KING-TV poll conducted by SurveyUSA. 2 months until votes are counted, it's Koster 50%, Larsen 46%, with partisan voters canceling each other out and Independents, who break 4:3 Republican, accounting for all of Koster's narrow advantage. Older, more reliable voters split. Younger voters break Republican.
 
Filtering: 800 registered voters from Washington's 2nd Congressional District were interviewed by SurveyUSA 08/31/10 through 09/02/10, using Registration Based Sample (RBS) from Aristotle in Washington DC. Of the registered voters, 612 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the 11/02/10 general election for US House of Representatives.
