Kansas 5:3 Opposes Supreme Court Health Care Ruling:
Kansas Democrats support today's 06/28/12 Supreme Court decision on the Affordable Care Act by a margin of nearly 3:1, but Kansas Republicans oppose today's ruling by more than 4:1. When the two groups are proportionally blended, the state of Kansas comes down this way: 38% support the ruling, 52% oppose, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted exclusively for KWCH-TV in Wichita.
* 55% in Kansas say they expect the cost of health care to go up as a result of the decision. SurveyUSA interviewed 650 Kansas adults on 06/28/12. Of the adults, 530 were following news of the Supreme Court decision and were asked the substantive questions of the survey. 10% of the Kansans interviewed do not currently have health insurance coverage. Among the small number who do not currently have health insurance, there is 4:3 opposition to a court ruling that, in effect, requires them to purchase coverage. |
