| Tampa Bay Supports Laws to Limit Ammo Sales and Clip Capacity, Wants Better Enforcement of Existing Gun Laws:
Tampa Bay area adults are of mixed minds on the issue of gun control, following last week's shooting in Aurora CO. Tampa favors new laws that would limit the amount of ammunition that a person can guy at one time. Tampa favors new laws that would restrict the sale of semi-automatic weapons. But when asked if gun violence would be more reduced by the passing of new laws or by the enforcement of existing laws, Tampa by nearly 2:1 favors the enforcement of existing laws. The survey, conducted for WFLA-TV by SurveyUSA, also finds Tampa area residents in agreement with decisions made by the NCAA and by Penn State University about Penn State's football program. |
