| Kentucky Voters Back Video Gambling at Race Tracks, See Machines as Help to Horse Industry: By 3:2, Kentucky voters support changing KY law to allow video gambling machines at Kentucky's horse racing tracks, according to an exclusive Courier-Journal Bluegrass / WHAS-TV Poll conducted by SurveyUSA. Seniors and voters in Eastern KY are split on video gambling; otherwise, support is strong across the state and across demographic groups.
Twice as many voters say video gambling will help KY horse racing as say video gambling will hurt. By 6:1, voters say video gambling will increase state revenue. Overwhelmingly, Kentucky voters say voters should be the ones to decide if video gambling machines are allowed, not the Kentucky General Assembly. |
