Kentucky Voters Back Video Gambling at Race Tracks, See Machines as Help to Horse Industry: By 3:2, Kentucky voters support changing KY law to allow video gambling machines at Kentucky's horse racing tracks, according to an exclusive Courier-Journal Bluegrass / WHAS-TV Poll conducted by SurveyUSA. Seniors and voters in Eastern KY are split on video gambling; otherwise, support is strong across the state and across demographic groups.

Twice as many voters say video gambling will help KY horse racing as say video gambling will hurt. By 6:1, voters say video gambling will increase state revenue. Overwhelmingly, Kentucky voters say voters should be the ones to decide if video gambling machines are allowed, not the Kentucky General Assembly.

 
Filtering: SurveyUSA interviewed 700 Kentucky adults 01/28/10 through 01/31/10. Of them, 617 identified themselves as being registered to vote and were asked the questions which follow.
