Narrowly, City of Wichita Favors Adding Fluoride to Drinking Water:
In a referendum today, 09/27/12, the city of Wichita passes by a small margin a ballot question that would add fluoride to the city's public water supply, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for KWCH-TV. Democrats support the measure, Republican oppose. Parents support the measure, those without children split. The least educated voters oppose the measure 2:1. The most educated voters support the measure 2:1. Cell-phone and home-phone respondents were included in this research. Opposition to ballot measures typically increases as election day approaches. |
