Cell-phone respondents included in this research: 600 Washington state adults were interviewed 09/21/11 and 09/22/11 and were asked questions about President Obama, the jobs bill, and income tax. Of the adults, 529 were registered to vote in Washington state and were asked about the Governor, the Attorney General and the ballot measures. Approximately 25% of those interviewed for this study do not use a home telephone to make and receive calls. The research was conducted multi-mode. Those without a home telephone saw the questions displayed visually on their cell phone or other electronic device.

7Washington voters will also be asked to vote on two ballot measures. Let's talk first about Initiative 1183. Initiative 1183 would close state liquor stores and sell their assets; would license private parties to sell and distribute spirits; would set license fees based on sales; would regulate licensees; and would change regulation of wine distribution. Should Initiative 1183 be enacted into law?
