| In Kansas, Governor Brownback Job Approval Numbers Largely Unchanged Over Past 90 Days:
Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has a Minus 12 Net Job Approval today, 07/18/12, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for KWCH-TV in Wichita. 36% today approve of the job the Governor is doing; 48% disapprove. Among Kansas Republicans, Republican Brownback's job approval has not exceeded 57% the last 5 times SurveyUSA has measured it. Kansas Senator Pat Roberts has a Plus 8 Net Job Approval. (46% today approve, 38% disapprove.) Kansas Senator Jerry Moran has a Plus 10 Net Job Approval. (44% today approve, 34% disapprove.) Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach has a Minus 2 Net Job Approval. (35% today approve, 37% disapprove.) President Barack Obama has a Minus 18 Net Job Approval in Kansas (38% today approve, 56% disapprove.) Cell-phone and home-phone respondents included in this research: SurveyUSA interviewed 600 adults from the state of Kansas 07/13/12 through 07/17/12. Of them, 515 were registered to vote and were asked the substantive quesitons in the survey. This research was conducted using blended sample, mixed mode. Respondents reachable on a home telephone (74% of registered voters) were interviewed on their home telephones in the recorded voice of a professional announcer. Respondents not reachable on a home telephone (26% of registered voters) were shown a questionnaire on their laptop, smartphone, tablet or other electronic device. |
