SurveyUSA tracked the Prosecuting Attorney’s contest for KING-TV, the Belo-owned station in Seattle. SurveyUSA saw the Republican Dan Satterberg come from behind to defeat the Democrat Bill Sherman.

SurveyUSA’s final poll had Satterberg ahead by 8 points. When the votes were counted, Satterberg won by 8.

On a low-turnout, odd-numbered year muncipal election, this is as good as a pollster can hope to do.
