In a Democratic Primary for Governor of North Carolina today, Beverly Perdue leads Richard Moore 47% to 38%. Moore leads among men by 7 points. Perdue leads among women by 23 points — a 30-point Gender Gap.
Perdue is strongest in Southern and Coastal NC. Moore’s support is distributed more evenly geographically. Incumbent Mike Easley is term limited.
