SurveyUSA Breaking News - 11/29/07 09:48 PM

Yes, in Massachusetts.

Head-to-head data just released shows John McCain leading Barack Obama by 3 points — well within the margin of error but still a data point the conventional wisdom might not expect.

A look at the tracking data shows that while the race has often been close, Obama has never held the lead.

McCain vs. Obama MA

Meantime, Hillary Clinton today leads McCain by 5 points — her smallest lead since we began tracking last June, and a significant dip from last month, when she led by 21 points.

Against Rudy Giuliani, Obama holds a two point lead — down from five points when we last polled that pairing, in September.  Clinton leads Giuliani by 14 points today, down from 23 points last month.
