Presidential Approval: Below 50% for 18 Months in Alabama

December marks the 18th consecutive month of an under-50% approval rating in Alabama for President George W. Bush. The President last had a positive approval number here in June of 2006. In 30 consecutive months of tracking, Bush’s approval rating has never been lower than 69% among Republicans , and never greater than 21% among Democrats.

Today, President Bush has a 41% approval rating and Minus 15 Net Job Approval in Alabama.
