In January, Bush Approval Increased In Most SurveyUSA States

Over the past three months, President Bush’s approval ratings increased in 11 of 15 states polled by SurveyUSA.
His Net Job Approval, calculated by subtracting disapproval from approval, increased 13 points in Virginia between November and January, from Minus 32 to Minus 19. In Ohio, Net Job Approval fell from Minus 29 to Minus 34. Thirteen other states fell in-between those two extremes, as shown on the following chart.
