In Alabama and California, Little Difference Which Democrat is Nominated, But For Different Reasons

We’ve looked at several states recently where Barack Obama out-performs Hillary Clinton when matched against John McCain in November; we’ll look later today at some states where the reverse is true.

Right now, a look at Alabama and California, where the results of the November election today seem little in doubt, regardless of which Democrat is running.

Alabama:

California:

While Obama is 4 points stronger than Clinton in California and 4 points weaker in Alabama, in neither case is that difference material. Full Alabama results here; full California results here.
