Newest Ohio Primary Poll To Be Released Today
SurveyUSA Breaking News - 02/26/08 07:00 AM
SurveyUSA’s Ohio clients — WCMH-TV Columbus, WCPO-TV Cincinnati, WKYC-TV Cleveland and WHIO-TV Dayton – will release today results of SurveyUSA’s newest Democratic Primary poll from the Buckeye State, just hours before the two candidates face-off in Cleveland.
Clinton leads by 22 points among respondents who tell SurveyUSA they have already voted, but …

That is great, it shows that Clinton has awakened her followers to vote early. I believe that Obama had the advantage in prior primaries in the early voting numbers.
I am happy for Hillary. Let’s keep it going.
Yosef,
I am glad you are happy for your candidate but if I was you, I would be worried. Note the but…at the end of the teaser. That means Hillary is losing more ground in her firewall state as other pollsters have shown. Rasmussen has her now at +5 in Ohio down from +14 a week ago.
It’s starting to look bleak for Hillary and this whole thing will end on March 4th when Obama wins both states.
On the contrary. Clinton won California because of early voting, before people had had a chance to get to know Obama. Every poll in every contest from the outset has shown Obama gaining momentum the longer the race for any particular state continues. This bodes well for Barack Obama. And for that, I am one grateful white, middle aged, lady!
Here in Ohio, Obama is closing fast. His yardsigns, even in snow covered yards, are popping up everywhere.
In Columbus alone, he has 5 HQs.
My wife and I will be at his rally tomorrow morning on the Ohio State campus; OSU has sent out traffic warnings for what they expect to be another huge throng for Barack Obama.
Having watched Ohio politics for over 40 years, I’m confident that Obama will win the Ohio primary next Tuesday.
It must also be noted that early voting numbers usually have a very very large margin of error. SUSA posted Texas numbers yesterday which showed Clinton with a lead in early voting in TX. Rasmussen’s numbers also released yesterday said Obama was winning the early vote “handily.” I disregard all early voting numbers usually in a race that shows tight polls.
I’ve seen several “Don’t mess with Texas” signs with Hillary’s name on them! Nuff said. This Texan agrees!
