In SC, Possible McCain VP Choice Has Wide Approval

South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, mentioned as a possible Republican running mate for GOP frontrunner John McCain, today has a 61% approval rating and a 33% disapproval rating, yielding a Net Job Approval of Plus 28.
Among Republicans, Sanford’s approval rating is 80%; among Democrats, it’s 50%. Full crosstabs are here.
