46% of Cincinnati-area adults say the Federal Government did the right thing by taking over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac,  according to this exclusive poll conducted by WCPO-TV in Cincinnati. 37% Say the Federal Government did the wrong thing by taking over the mortgage companies.

When we asked if the takover will help or hurt the nation’s economy, here is what Cincinnati adults told us:

• 36% said the takeover will help the economy.
• 28% said it would hurt the economy.
• 28% don’t think it will make much difference.
