Kansas’ 4th CD: Republican Tiahrt Re-Elected in a Walk

In an election for United States House of Representatives in Kansas’ 4th Congressional District today, incumbent Republican Todd Tiahrt wins re-election to his eight term by a 2:1 margin, defeating Democrat Donald Betts 62% to 29%, according to this exclusive KWCH-TV election poll conducted by SurveyUSA. Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll released two months ago, little has changed: Tiahrt is up one point, Betts is down one point.
Tiahrt takes the majority of the vote among both men and women and among all age groups. 29% of Democrats cross over to vote for Tiahrt. 8% of Republicans cross over to vote for Betts. Independents favor Tiahrt by 2:1.
