60% of Alabama adults say they approve of the job Barack Obama is doing as President, according to SurveyUSA’s first Alabama Obama approval rating poll, conducted exclusively for WKRG-TV in Mobile. 24% say they disapprove of President Obama’s performance. Subtracting disapproval from approval yields a Net Approval rating of Plus 36.
One month ago, in SurveyUSA’s final Alabama tracking poll on then-President George W. Bush, Bush had a 40% approval and 56% disapproval rating, for a Net Approval of Minus 16.
