14 Days To Go, NYC Mayor Bloomberg 12 Atop Thompson in Bid For 3rd Term

In an election for New York City mayor, two weeks until votes are counted, incumbent Mayor Mike Bloomberg is re-elected to a third term, defeating Democratic challenger Bill Thompson 53% to 41%, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted exclusively for WABC-TV.
Bloomberg is dominant among women, whites and Hispanics; in Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Thompson does best among blacks, residents of Brooklyn and The Bronx.
