In head-to-head matchups for President of the United States, in swing-state Washington, today: Democrats win 7 of 8 hypothetical head-to-head matchups. Only when John McCain is paired against Hillary Clinton do Republicans win, 49% McCain, 46% Clinton, within the surveys margin of sampling error. Washingtonians are uniquely sensitive to who is on the ballot. If Barack Obama faces Mitt Romney, Obama wins by 31 points today. |
