Results of SurveyUSA News Poll #26650

Biden Job Approval Dips in Georgia Just Ahead of Midterms, While Gov. Brian Kemp's Net Favorability On the Rise: SurveyUSA's latest check on the President's Net Job Approval and on Net Favorability for Georgia's gubernatorial and US Senate candidates, conducted exclusively for 11Alive News in Atlanta, show that ... President Joe Biden today has a Net Job Approval of Minus 13, dipping 7 points from a Minus 6 last month. Net Approval is calculated by subtracting disapproval from approval; 43% today approve of the job Joe Biden is doing as President (17% strongly approve, 26% somewhat approve); 56% disapprove (13% somewhat disapprove, 43% strongly disapprove). Governor Brian Kemp has a Net Favorability of Plus 13, up from Plus 4. 45% say they have a positive opinion of Kemp, 32% unfavorable; 18% are neutral; 6% have no opinion. Kemp's challenger for Governor, Stacey Abrams, has a Net Favorability of Minus 9 today, down 6 points from Minus 3. 37% have a favorable opinion of Abrams, 46% unfavorable; 13% are neutral; 5% have no opinion. US Senator Raphael Warnock has a Net Favorability of Minus 3, down 6 points from Plus 3. 40% view Warnock favorably, 43% unfavorably; 13% are neutral; 4% have no opinion. Republican candidate for Senate Herschel Walker has a Net Favorability of Minus 20, up from Minus 23 last month. 30% have a favorable opinion of Walker, 50% a negative opinion; 15% are neutral; 6% have no opinion. About the Poll / Filtering: SurveyUSA interviewed 1,800 Georgia adults online 10/29/22 through 11/02/22, using sample provided by Lucid Holdings LLC of New Orleans. Of the adults, 1,507 were registered to vote and were asked the questions which follow. The pool of adult survey respondents was weighted to US Census targets for gender, age, race, education, and home ownership.
