4In 1996, voters approved light rail, commuter rail, regional buses and H-O-V lanes. The measure led to the creation of Sound Transit and included a point-four percent increase in the sales tax and a vehicle license tab excise tax of $30 on every $10,000 of a vehicle's value. Do you feel you got your money's worth from this package?
