Eve of New Jersey GOP Primary, McCain 2:1 Atop Romney: 24 hours till votes are counted in the New Jersey Republican Primary, John McCain is in command, 2:1 atop Mitt Romney, according to SurveyUSA's final pre-primary tracking poll. Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll 72 hours ago, McCain is up 6, Romney is flat.
 
Filtering: 2,000 state of NJ adults were interviewed 02/02/08 and 02/03/08. All interviews completed before 6:30 pm ET kickoff of Super Bowl on 02/03/08. Of the adults, 1,821 were registered to vote. Of them, 467 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the 02/05/08 NJ Republican Primary.
