In California and Massachusetts, Opposite Reactions to Wright Clips

SurveyUSA Breaking News - 52 days ago

Two blue states, two different sides of the country, two completely different reactions to recent events:

In California, Barack Obama gained three points against John McCain. As noted in yesterday’s postings, all this research was conducted before Obama’s 3/18 speech on race in America; barring any new “top” on the Jeremiah Wright story, all of these polls were conducted at Obama’s low point, so far as this particular issue is concerned. Compare this three point CA gain, though, to what happened in Massachusetts during the identical time period:

Hillary Clinton, meantime, gains 8 points on McCain in Obama, where she now leads the Arizona Senator 56-38, and gives up 5 points to him in Massachusetts, where she leads McCain by 13 points.  Full California results are here; full Massachusetts results are here; more states as the day goes on.

Massachusetts is fools gold for the GOP. Regardless of candidate…
